Lasse Strom drove the #8 Aspen Burgess to his first Formula I heat victory.

“He could barely believe it, at last his undisputed ability was there for all to
see – he had lost his anti-torque steering four laps from home – and it had looked
like it – but he made it anyway.

Jenkins held onto second slot and Percival who managed to negotiate Enrico Vidoli took
third place”.

See..a really good story about my F1-V8 racing.

This was the last race of the 1983 season and it happen at my favorite place..

Idroscalo, next to the Linate airport in Milan..

I made a perfect start, pulled away to a very good lead and stayed there to the checkered flag.
For the first time I found proof of this in writing by Rosalind Nott.. Editor..Powerboat and Water skiing Magazine..
This race was a big relief for me..
Now I know I could beat the rest of the drivers in the F1-V8 series..
The perfect place for F1-V8 racing..Idroscalo..
The race boat..Burgess/Aspen/Evinrude F1-V8
