Yesterday was a new step for Marcus Friberg and his Nitra Boats.
A brand new race boat was tested for the first time just north of Stockholm.
This is also as far as I know the first Evinrude 250H.O V6 G2 used for boat racing.
A new boat, engine and class for Marcus and his Co-Pilot Anton Skwirut 2015.
This boat is built for the Offshore V-300 class and the plan is to go racing this weekend in Oskarshamn, Sweden.
Many new things must work..for example the “Fly By Wire” foot throttle from Evinrude, but if I know Marcus right it is going to be mostly wide open throttle.

The X-27 race boat was running extremely good yesterday and Marcus need bigger propellers for the powerful engine and I was told there is bigger props in the mail..

The new G2 from Evinrude is already famous for extremely good fuel mileage and less fuel on board is another advantage.
