November 10 1985 was a very, very sad day.

My boating friend Pelle Lindbergh crashed his red Porsche 911 Turbo in to a concrete wall in New Jersey and died the day after.
There is so many good memories from our boating summers in Sweden.
Maybe one day I have to write a book about all the fun we had together.
Trips to Gotland, Utö, Möja, Sandhamn and Wermdö Golf & Country Club in my Flying Flipper boat.
All the soccer games he made me be part of..
Well..I visited Pelle in his home in Marlton, New Jersey a few times and did see
him play hockey for Philadelphia Flyers.
Pelle was one of the best goalies ever..

Rest in peace my friend..I will never forget you.

Pelle and I had a plan to go Offshore racing together 1986.

We asked Michael Peters to design a cat for 3 X Evinrude F1-V8 Offshore engines and I made a deal with OMC for engine support.

The last picture is a similar looking boat to ours.

A postcard Pelle sent me a few weeks before the accident.
Pelle was in Pittsburgh and he know I like to race my F1-V8 boat there with #8. He made a little race boat on the postcard

Yes, I have totally forgot about this but two friends of mine drove a
V-bottom boat powered with a NSU Rotary (Wankel) to victory in the UIM Class R-3. (Max 2 liter inboards)

Here is a few pictures of Krusenstierna and Zetterstrom´s  green Joker boat # 115  powered by a NSU Rotary – (Wankel)

Red arrow.

This boat was used in many races in Sweden over a few years and was doing very good.
