Caesare Scotti wins Bristol 1974 driving the new Scotti/Evinrude V6 2 liter.

OMC´s top boat builder Caesare Scotti was unbeatable in the famous Embassy Grand Prix 1974.

There was many new Evinrude-Johnson V6 purpose built 2 liter race engines in the race.Hans Pelster of Holland  drove a Scotti/Johnson V6 race #12.

The Bristol race was run in June 1974.  Later same year (October) we sadly lost the very popular Italian boat builder/driver Caesare Scotti in a race accident in the early hours of Paris 6 Hours. I was just behind Scotti in my OE class boat and did see the incident. We learned after the race that Scotti left us.
