Budweiser Presents 2013 US F1 Powerboat Tour at Lucas Oil Speedway!

With the much anticipated tunnel boat racing making it’s 2013 debut at the Newly built
boat racing facility at Lucas Oil Speedway this weekend both Friday and Saturday – May
10th & 11th! Seebold Sports along with Team Seebold NGK Race Team are unavailing
the newest Formula 1 Power Boat. Tuesday at 4pm they will unveil the never before
seen NGK Spark Plugs Team Seebold Formula 1 race boat. This is an announcement
party to celebrate with the Seebold Family and NGK on the release of the New Formula
1 race boat and meet the New Team.

There will be distinguished guests and sponsors on hand for interviews and autographs
including F1 Champion Tim Seebold and more! Make sure to catch all the action
in person and get your photos taken with the Hottest New Formula 1 Race Boat by

The US Formula 1 Powerboat Tour will kick off the 2013 season by hosting the first
Tunnel Boat racing event at Lake Lucas since the facility’s inception. Testing and
Tuning on Friday May 10th will see full fields of both the Formula 1 and Formula Light
classes. Qualifying heats begin Saturday morning May 11th followed by the first final
ever on Lake Lucas showcasing a new F1 racing format.

Witness the gut wrenching 0-100mph acceleration in under 3.5 seconds with top speeds
in excess of 135mph. Driver’s racing deck to deck in the stadium like setting, pulling 5
g’s in the 180 degree corners in their ultra-lightweight Tunnel Boats powered by 400
horsepower outboard motors.

After a successful test back in September, US Formula 1 Powerboat Tour President
Jose Mendana Jr. and Tim Seebold who is the Tour’s all time win leader both expect
great results and a fantastic show for the spectators. “We are proud to have the
opportunity to race at Lake Lucas, this is going to be an exciting time for everyone
involved stated,” Mendana Jr. “Lucas Oil’s premier facility will showcase Formula 1
racing up close treating the fans to exciting racing action along with the friendly open pit
area.” Tim Seebold of Osage Beach Missouri considers racing in Wheatland his home
town race,” I’m super excited to be racing back in Missouri for the first time since ’08
with all of the cheering support from my family and friends. “This is a purpose built race
course that provides Formula 1 with a luxury we normally do not get and this is as close
to a stadium that F1 currently has an opportunity to race on.”
Lucas Oil Speedway is a cutting edge Motorsports Venue and is centrally located in
Wheatland, Missouri about an hour north of Springfield, MO and an hour and a half from
Kansas City while only being an hour from Lake of the Ozarks. In addition to the boat
racing throughout Saturday, all fans who purchase a ticket to the boat racing event will
also receive free admission to the Lucas Oil weekly championship dirt track car races
