I am back home after a fun weekend in Milwaukee with BRP and Evinrude.
Being an Ambassador for Evinrude is a great honor. (The first production outboard ever built 1909)
A short review of the weekend.
The BRP management asked for a new aggressive design so you can tell it is an Evinrude outboard from long distance.
The engineering department went back in the Evinrude history book and looked at the successful racing rotary.
You can see many similarities here..
Well..I remember the rotary racing engine from Paris 6 hours.
The racing boat #03 above is from Paris 1974.
I was part of that race.
Here is a link to the race in Galveston, TX

The G2 is extremely powerful. A completely new cylinder block with a way better exhaust.
I did see the new block but was not allowed to take pictures.
EPA approved to 2020 standard and the cleanest outboard on the market.
A very easy and quick installation is now possible. The power steering is built in the midsection.
New gear case and much more.
A mix of G2 pictures and a video.
