2000 and a few years forward Cees Van Der Velden with help from other independent engine turners competed in the F1 series. Lack of funding was the biggest problem but it did not stop Cees for trying as hard as possible. Some famous names as Jonathon Jones and Sami Selio did race the Johnson V6 with mixed results.
