A very cool 62 year old Evinrude advertising (from 1961)

One Evinrude CCC & two Johnson RS in the Drammen GP 1980.
All three OMC racing engines was 3 liter V6 loopers, with fuel injection. (Pure racing engines)
Of course the Evinrude was a bit faster and won the UIM OZ class..

Yes, I was there racing the UIM OE/F3 class

My guess is 201 is Ken Stevenson and maybe Bob Hering in the 3 cylinder boat…He won the UIM World OE title 1978. The race was run in the USA.

This is interesting picture because Barry is leaning forward..meaning his Molinari/Nordica/Evinrude V8 did not have a safety cockpit..
One of the reasons I did not like to be strapped in..terrible feeling..you could not balance the boat by leaning forward anymore.
Renato was not in to developing safety cells/cockpits.
