En stor man och vän i marinbranchen lämnade oss i helgen.

Per Welin vet alla i branchen vem han är..Ansvarig för Johnson utombordare på AGB. Sen blev det Mariner där. Mercury jobbade Pelle också med samt på OMC Sverige med Evinrude Johnson. Om jag minns rätt var han också ansvarig för Suzuki utombordare på KG Knutsson.

Pelle var en stor vän av båt racing och stöttade förare som Bosse Nilsson, Hasse Strandman och Bertil Wik.

Ingen kunde hålla låda som Pelle på båtmässor och återförsäljarresor.

831cc FT-19s powerhead,
The exhaust housing is not a 45ss, it is a shortened production 3-cyl part (same as FT) with the exhaust outlet added.
It used the special sandcast FT-19S powerhead adapter, to be compatible with the special sandcast Mod50 FT/FR exhaust manifold.

The intended use was for hydros and runabouts in APBA Modified FEH/850cc

There was so many local people coming up to my #8 Burgess/ASPEN boat in the pit with the Swedish flag talking to me about their Swedish heritage.

The sad part..so far I have not found any pictures of my #8 Burgess/ASPEN boat in the Minneapolis race 1983..

I have a great memory when I met Ziggy Boettle at the OMC racing center in Brugge, Belgium 1975. Back then the Swedish Evinrude distributor Huzells made white wooden clogs with the Evinrude logo in blue..see picture.. I did have the right size for Ziggy with me and gave him a pair..

I was laughing so hard when Ziggy tried to walk in his new Evinrude clogs..he just could not walk in them.

I think he took the´m back home and did some practice to walk by himself..
