Very nice to see the Italian Paolo Zantelli winning the UIM F-2 race in Nottingham today.
Maybe more fun is that Paolo was driving a Clerici race boat.
Had myself a huge success with SE class Clerici boats in the seventies built by Franco Clerici in his garage next to the family’s house.
Do not remember how many times I was there but at least fifteen.
Franco also invited me to a relatives wedding..
Many good memories.
